one time when i was shooting a story for a magazine the director kept asking me for the fitting photos. at first i didnt understand it i felt quite offended actually. were my photos not enough to tell the story? i thought the fitting photos were just the pre preduction that were irrelevant and didnt matter, but by the end of editing the story i realized it could just be part of the story. the fitting photos are about the fashion and nothing else! its usually a model with messy hair, no make up, colored underwears, and sleepy eyes and yet they still look beautiful and the clothes are speaking.

after this project i learned to never doubt the stylists fitting photos, but that doesn't mean fitting photos are the be all end all.
